Covid-19 Corona Virus General Guidance
Government Announcement on 22 February 2021
4 Step Plan to Ease Lockdown from 8 March
On 22 February the Government announced a 4 step plan to ease lockdown from 8 March.
We intend re-opening for pre-booked viewings from 29 March 2021 and there will be a phased return to weddings and events between 17 May and 21 June 2021.
These dates are not guaranteed and depend on the Government road map to recovery setting out four steps for easing restrictions. Before proceeding to the next step, the Government will examine the data to assess the impact of the previous step.
At this stage we expect to be able to host weddings for up to 30 attendees from 17 May, and returning to normal on 21 June. These dates are fo course not guaranteed and depend on how the Government responds to scientific advice.
Social distancing measures may still apply for some time and there may be other restrictions on how we are able to operate. Our team will discuss these with you.
Our customers have been absolutely fantastic since the first lockdown was announced in March 2020 in understanding that we have all been through difficult times and have set about working constructively with us to re-arrange wedding and event dates.
As a result we have been able to ensure that our customers will not lose money and will be able to enjoy their weddings, events and celebrations.
In recent months we have brought forward plans for a major refurbishment of Lyme Breeze and have invested heavily in improving our already lovely venue. Our brand new bar, refurbished lounge and increased space in the dining room already complete the customer experience. Our outdoor wedding area will be completed during Spring 2021.
We are working hard to get back to business as usual as soon as restrictions allow and look forward to seeing all our customers enjoying themselves with family and friends very soon.
