Covid-19 Corona Virus General Guidance
For the purposes of a marriage ceremony or civil partnership formation, the number of attendees should ideally be kept to a minimum as far as possible. The lower the number of attendees, the lower the risk of spreading the virus.
The unique significance that marriages and civil partnerships hold in people’s lives is recognised by the Government and for this reason, up to 15 people, in groups of no more than 6, can attend a marriage or civil partnership, where this can be safely accommodated with social distancing in a COVID-19 secure venue.
This maximum number includes all those at the ceremony, including the couple, witnesses, officiants and guests. It also includes any third-party suppliers, such as photographers or security, but does not include our staff.
A reception/celebration limited to 15 people can take place immediately following a wedding ceremony. Other types of events such as parties and groups are not currently permitted.
Our customers have been absolutely fantastic since lockdown was first announced in March 2020 in understanding that we have all been through difficult times and have set about working constructively with us.
As a result we have been able to ensure that our customers will not lose money and will be able to enjoy their weddings, events and celebrations.
In recent months we have brought forward plans for a major refurbishment of Lyme Breeze and have invested heavily in improving our already lovely venue. Our brand new bar, refurbished lounge and increased space in the dining room already complete the customer experience.
We are working hard to get back to business as usual as soon as restrictions allow and look forward to seeing all our customers enjoying themselves with family and friends very soon.
